Prepare to feel uncomfortable even though the overall message is a progressive one, as the host attempts to dispel the misconceptions that have arisen with regards to the relationship between race and crime. Using rather jarring language and strange analogies (for example analyzing how similar/dissimilar a Black and Asian guest are to an ape), the host explains that race is irrelevant to the ma...

I dont think kids are meant to sit still for hours. They should be more active.

That’s funny occupational therapy for a six-year-old is hammering a nail.
I see a lot of autistic traits.
My childhood trauma caused me to feel utter hatred towards any kind of authority, even if it was just an adult that was actually being nice to me. Later as a teenager my depression reached its peak and I started realizing how unfair i was to those people. I remember one time after the pandemic, i was severely depressed when i met one of those friendly adults again (after not having seen her for years) and she was jokingly asking why i was being nice to her. Later that day she asked me what's wrong and if there was a way she could help me. I cry every time I think back to that day, but ultimately I'm just so grateful for being able to get out of my depression
It's crazy how only now ADHD is being looked at
I didnt speak for quite a while when I entered kindergarten, but I excelled in schoolwork. I was taken to the principle , parents brought in ...I read a Dr Suess book then the principle said I must have memorized it. They gave me another..I read it..but I was still considered " odd". I suppose I was ( am). I excelled through school, but socially, I did not. What always pissed me off was that throughout life, if you're not social, you have to be chastised for it..and it just makes it worse. The teachers ignore you more than the kids.
Hi 👋☺️👋
They knew all this in the 60s, but they didn't know not to beat on me in the 80s? Getting hit on made me a worse student. I never had a learning disability, but I had issues thinking school was dumb and not wanting to participate often. I'd get in trouble for talking to much which led to getting beat on by the principal.
My learning disability was thinking everything I was learning was stupid, so I didn't want to learn it. I would draw or talk instead. 😂
There are no stupid questions, only stupid people...and where do stupid people stand children? That's right, in the corner. Little Jeff, you know where to go right? Or do I have to spell it out? Stop laughing students, he's special. Jeff eats glue, a lot of glue. As a toddler, he was fond of licking walls and instead of eating broccoli, he'd eat paint chips. Scientists working with Food and Drug Administration have discovered a startling revelation about lead in nearly all household products. They've assured us, Jeff would need to consume his weight in lead to have any negative side effects...they've attributed his condition to poor genetics. Litigators have taken bold steps to ensure some people simply won't be able to produce disruptive children like Jeff with the "Nip it in the Bud" Bill set to pass the House of Representatives and glide through the Senate with overwhelming support. Science has once again prevailed.

She feels like she is being watched and keeps feeling around to find who is watching. she was totally correct. camera behind the mirror was watching. She absolutely had issues but this "treatment" was hurting more than helping.
Anyone else caught that Two Thousand Billion Dollars comment, LOL 16:11
OK, so they called Michael sadistic, but I have to wonder with what's going on with him. He seemed a little bit aggressive at first. And then he calmed down when his teacher told him it was all right to touch things. He does seem overly compulsive with just wanting to touch and it does sound like he has a vocabulary kind of in line with a 2 or 3-year-old. Sometimes I wonder if this has to do with the parents related to over authoritarian type parents because a lot of us in this era had parents like that who were very authoritarian parents and just wanted kids to sit down and be good all the time. So when I look at Michael and I see this in this video. Then I wonder if he was told to sit still all the time at home. So when he goes to school, then he wants to explore and do things at school that he can't do it at home.
Why would they call this little boy sadistic? It just sounds like such a very mean thing to say about this little young child. Even though I know the video is very old, it's such a horrific assessment of a child.
Okay, well it's good that John has learned how to gain self-control over himself and emotional confidence. He's turning into a very good and big boy
I like this guy at the end. The way he is teaching and dealing with the kids where he is pointing out as a teacher that he makes mistakes because he's being very relatable to the kids saying that teachers make mistakes. Not everyone is perfect.
No, when I listened to him talking to John. This is how I think of myself when I was a child as well-being too hard on myself and trying to get things perfect. I don't know where that comes from. But I guess with me supposed to be getting A's and b's with my grades. Then I felt like I had to be perfect, getting things in school like with the grades and then in life where it comes to some things being a perfectionist. And so right now I find Myself with some things I do in giving Myself permission to look at it from a Different way. In healing, my inner child and doing things in a fun playful childish manner as an adult. Sometimes it's very therapeutic to find my inner child and play with it.
Oh my goodness, John is not being very agreeable right now. He's being too hard on himself.
At 2039, the man speaking says that children like this often are dealing with competition. I have to wonder because when I was a child. I felt like my mother sometimes was competing and pitting my sister and me against each other when she would say that my sister gets better grades than I do and so she was turning everything into a competition. And everything was based on grades. If I got ACI was told that I could do better than just being a C student. And I should be getting A's and b's.
Less than me
Straight up ❤️❤️💯🗑️
This is unbearable. Why are humans so cruel to each other? I was also beaten a lot as a child. I don't love my mother at all.
Çok aci😢
8:27 beautifully spoken 👏👏👏
How sad he did nothing to try and help her.
The condescending remark about the " deep southern accent" is offensive.
I wonder how much of this was useful in the jungles of Vietnam… 🫣
From Philippines 👇🏻
me watching this in 2024 and i learned something
Didn't anyone take into account possible developmental delays, autism, adhd, etc, in these small children?
I have the similar thought! Plus there could be different personalities and even physical condition of those baby on the test date. Some could just be insecure and some could be shy!
Maybe kids aren't supposed to sit still for hours on end.
This guy sounds older than 22
👍👍👍
Amem e respeitem as crianças, todas merecem muito amor e cuidado 😔
I can't imagine these poor things' levels of anxiety, and I thought mine was debilitating. I mean, it is, but _this_ is deeply wrong. If my anxiety is almost crippling me, an adult, I can't imagine what such children go through. You're never safe, there's always some danger, you're never sure about anything, you probably have no trust, you can't do anything, or learn and improve, you're always lacking skills, you may also fear responsibility - cause to you it means becoming a possible target, dealing with possible punishment which you desire to avoid. I don't understand why I relate so much if my family's never been neglectful or abusive to me
Nothing wrong with my child that a "belt" won't cure.
why belt has apostrophes? What is even a "belt"?
Parents back then were neanderthals. All of the men killed someone in the war. They all drank whiskey and smoked. Short tempered.
They're looking for a hug....
It would be much better if people nowadays have more sincere talks like these and less speeches about how they are supposed to be saints who help and love everyone....cause they don't. But it's ok to not be perfect, the first step to resolve a problem like prejudice is to be sincere and polite
The high school students back then always sounded like our esteemed elites today, well trained in the art of eloquating their thoughts
